This past month, the Bowmen Family Foundation was grateful to have the opportunity to support our community in two meaningful ways.

We made a donation to Sherwood 4 Kids Sake to help provide local students with backpacks and school supplies as they head into a new school year. Every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling prepared and ready to learn, and we’re proud to support an organization helping make that possible.

We were also able to provide financial assistance to a local family who lost their home in a devastating fire. We are thankful that our Foundation could step in during an incredibly difficult time and help ease even a small part of the burden they are facing.

This is exactly why the Bowmen Family Foundation exists — neighbors helping neighbors and supporting our Sherwood community when it matters most.

Every donation, sponsorship, auction bid, and person who supports our events helps make moments like these possible. Thank you for continuing to support our mission and allowing us to give back to the community we love. 💙

The Bowmen Family Foundation invites all veterans and their families to our annual Veterans Tailgate at Sherwood High School on Friday, September 18th, as the Bowmen take on Lake Oswego! 🏈

This special evening is held in honor and memory of our fallen veteran, Captain Aaron Contreras, and is our opportunity to come together as a community and show our appreciation for those who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

Veterans receive FREE admission to the game, and veterans and their families are invited to join us before kickoff for a complimentary tailgate with food and drinks!

This past month, the Bowmen Family Foundation was proud to continue supporting local families and youth in our community—including sending scholarship funds for three of our graduating senior scholarship recipients as they prepare to head off to college this fall! 🎓

But our support doesn’t stop there. As summer winds down and a new school year approaches, we know this season can bring extra expenses for families. School supplies, backpacks, new shoes and clothing, sports registration fees, cleats, equipment, activity fees and more can add up quickly.

The Bowmen Family Foundation is here to help members of our community when they need a little extra support. Whether it’s helping put groceries on the table, assisting with rent or utilities, providing school supplies, helping a child participate in sports or activities, supporting families during the holidays, or stepping in during an unexpected hardship—we want our neighbors to know they don’t have to navigate those moments alone.
